Port Sudan, Sudan – September 6, 2025 — The humanitarian organization For Sudan arrived in Sudan on a mission to deliver vital medical supplies collected through leading hospitals and healthcare partners in Switzerland, including hospitals in Neuchâtel and Yverdon, as well as other supporting institutions.
The delegation, consisting of four members of For Sudan, met with key government officials and prominent community and social leaders to discuss the coordination, allocation, and distribution of the donated medical supplies.
Working with Our National Organization
As part of this mission, For Sudan worked in collaboration with its national organization in Sudan, For Sudan Charity, which plays a key role in coordinating activities and supporting the field-level implementation and distribution of projects within Sudan.
For Sudan Charity works closely with local authorities, hospitals, healthcare facilities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to help identify priority needs and ensure that donated medical equipment and supplies are directed to communities and healthcare facilities where they are most needed.
This national partnership allows For Sudan to combine international support and resources with For Sudan Charity’s local presence, knowledge, relationships, and operational capacity on the ground.

The delegation’s visit also included inspections of local hospitals and community health centers. These visits provided an opportunity to assess immediate medical needs, understand the challenges facing healthcare providers, and discuss the effective use and distribution of the donated supplies.
Through the coordination between For Sudan and For Sudan Charity, the initiative seeks to strengthen healthcare support, improve access to essential medical resources, and provide meaningful assistance to vulnerable communities across Sudan.
This mission demonstrates the importance of international and local collaboration in responding to Sudan’s healthcare challenges. It also reflects the ongoing commitment of For Sudan, together with its national organization For Sudan Charity, to supporting healthcare services and improving medical access for communities in need.
