Port Sudan, Sudan – On September 6, 2025, the humanitarian organization For Sudan arrived in Sudan on a mission to deliver vital medical support collected from leading hospitals in Switzerland, including Siss Hospitals in Neuchâtel and Éverdon, as well as La Xito de Fon.

The organization’s delegation, consisting of four organization members, visited key government officials and prominent social leaders to discuss the allocation and distribution of the donated medical supplies. The visit aims to strengthen healthcare support in Sudan, ensuring that hospitals and clinics receive essential equipment and medications to serve communities in need.

“We are committed to supporting Sudan’s healthcare system during these challenging times,” said a spokesperson for For Sudan. “Our goal is to ensure that medical resources reach the areas where they are most needed, and to work closely with local authorities and community leaders to maximize impact.”

The delegation’s visit also included site inspections of local hospitals and community health centers, allowing the team to assess immediate medical needs and provide guidance on the effective use of the supplies.
