Border Thirst: The Water Crisis for Sudanese Refugees

Save Lives with Clean Water – Sudan Refugee Crisis in Chad

Urgent Appeal: Help Provide Water for Sudanese Refugees in Chad

Millions of Sudanese refugees are fleeing war and arriving in camps in Chad with little or no access to clean water. Wells are drying up, and emergency water deliveries are no longer enough. Lives are at risk.

The Organization for Sudan, registered in Switzerland, is urgently raising funds to provide sustainable water solutions — including deep groundwater wells, pumps, storage tanks, pipelines, and water treatment systems. These are critical to saving lives and improving basic hygiene in the camps.

• Farchana Camp: 40,000–50,000 people
• Iridimi Camp: 20,000–30,000
• Treguine Camp: 25,000–35,000
• Adré Transit Camp: tens of thousands
